    In this newly created role the company is excited to hire their first Head of People/HR. Reporting to a phenomenal COO, this individual will operate as a player-coach, with a hands-on approach and lead and execute people strategy initiatives. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, the People leader will set the strategy and lead the execution of the TA, Talent Management, HRIS, HRBP and HR Ops functions.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Collaborating with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to organizational design, recruiting, and retention.
    • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
    • Actively supports and fosters a culture of inclusion. Leads by example to make LightForce a great place to work.
    • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with employment laws and regulations globally and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

    Education & Experience

    Ideal candidate will have depth and broad experience in Talent & Recruiting; Performance Management; Training & Development; Culture & Retention; Employee Engagement; Compensation & Benefits and Culture. Proven success operating at a strategic and hands-on level in a rapid growth, fast-paced organization with prior management of a team of HR professionals
