• Our client is a world leader in the development and commercialization of research tools that accelerate progress in biomedical research and medicine, specific to cancer. This privately held company generates $250M+ in sales and continues to grow; its workforce of 500 is dispersed across the US, Europe and Asia. The company provides premium products of the highest quality and reliability to function in the experiments of scientists at research universities and hospitals, government labs, and biotech & pharmaceutical companies around the globe.

    This newly created position reports to the VP of Global Human Resources, offering a pathway to becoming his successor in the near term. The HR Director will have overall responsibility for providing business partner support to all business/functional Vice Presidents with the primary focus on Global Commercial and the IT/Digital organizations.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Work with the SVP of Global HR and business leaders to understand business strategies, diagnose current organization performance, and develop/implement plans to build needed organization capabilities and support continued business growth
    • Rebuild the Commercial organizationa new global organization design needs to be proposed, agreed to, communicated and established
    • Lead and optimize the effectiveness of two HRBP’s
    • Facilitate robust talent discussions and assessments across the organization, and optimize leadership competencies throughout the company

    The ideal candidate could come from the Life Sciences sector, yet our client will engage a “best athlete” with achievements in a high performance, growth oriented and fast paced company. Strong business acumen and client relationship skills are a necessity, advanced degree a plus, and success in translating vision into action and effective execution are expected.
